This is an introductory class for those who would like to explore FREEZE AND FUSE. Freeze and fuse will add another dimension to your fusing. You will learn about how to make the slurry and properly fill the molds for freezing. Once frozen (in 1 or 2 hours), you will then prepare them for fusing. You will make enough to fill an 8"x 8" shelf. They can be picked up within a week.
Please note that this class is from 11am - 3pm and there will be a 1 hour break at 1pm to finish the freezing. You will return to the class at 2pm to unmold and load the shelves.
All supplies, tools and firing is included in the cost.
No prior glass cutting experience is required.
Please come in long pants and shoes that cover your feet (no sandals!).
This class is not suitable for those under 18 or pregnant or breastfeeding mothers.
